MICHAEL H. CARDWELL, RRC

Michael H. Cardwell, President of Roof Tech, Inc., has been active in the roofing industry since 1972, and is a graduate of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. As a contractor he served on the Board of Directors of the National Roofing Contractors Association from 1997 through 1999. Mike also served two two-year terms as the president of the Northwestern Indiana Roofing Contractors Association. He was instrumental in the establishment of a roofing apprenticeship education program in northwest Indiana.

Mike has earned the Registered Roof Consultant certification from The Roof Consultants Institute. Mike received this distinction in 1990, and was the first person in Indiana and the 23rd person in the country to be designated as a registered consultant. His background experience as a contractor gives Mike a unique perspective as a consultant. He is able to bring hands-on knowledge of the bidding process, the ability to write workable specifications and realistic budgets, and to accurately judge the progress and quality of work by the contractors.

FAY CARDWELL

Fay, operating from the Merrillville office, is the administrative and financial manager of Roof Tech, Inc. She helps coordinate the schedules, publishes reports and project manuals and handles correspondence. Fay, a bookkeeper by trade, also handles payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
